And now, for a post that has zero to do with Baby R or me puking.
Our gallery wall has been hanging for several months now. We are slowly but surely filling in the blank frames as inspiration arises. During our stay at the Mast Farm Inn, I noticed these awesome vintage postcards that they had framed and hung in the bathroom. They were all scenes from the Blue Ridge mountains. We checked the Mast General Store hoping they’d have something similar but had no luck. Lance had the brilliant idea to check ebay, and sure enough, we found the exact Grandfather Mountain postcard that we’d loved for about $2. Since the spot we had in mind had two frames of the same size, we decided to look for a second vintage postcard to go with it and settled on a 1950’s postcard from Innsbruck, where we visited earlier this year. With shipping, the two postcards set us back about $6. Not a bad deal.
There are still a few blank spaces left, but we are definitely making progress.
